A couple weeks ago, I talked about on my Instagram how I discovered an INSANE plot twist for The Shard and The Serpent. Since then, I’ve been pulling all-nighters, working to the bone to try and get this book delivered to you all by June 28th.

And I pulled it off! Mostly…

It’s my worst nightmare to push a release. I hate doing so, because I’ve spent the last year making June 28th the “big day”. But between everything going on in the world and cramming in these final revisions, I’m worried that publishing this month would mean not publishing my best work—and you deserve my best work.

The Shard and The Serpent will now release on July 28th, 2025

I’m only pushing the date by a month! This should be enough time for me to sit down, read back through a few more times, and really make sure all the finishing touches have been made.

This will also give me time to get physical copies ready. With the last minute revisions, I was only going to be able to publish the eBook this month. As a paperback girly myself, it was killing me knowing that. I want to make sure you all have access to ecopies + physical copies during release week.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Rayze and Warrick would be such a tease. They have continuously shocked me. Their story is unlike anything I’ve ever read or written.
